These terms of service govern your use of the Pronova website, our mobile application, and the products we sell, including the BioReader and Kora Strips. By using our website or products, you agree to comply with these terms. Please read them carefully.
If you take part in a Pronova study or beta round, the terms of study also apply to that participation.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least eighteen years old and the legal owner of the dog you are testing, or otherwise authorized by the legal owner. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
2. User responsibilities and conduct
You agree to use our website, app, and products only for their intended purpose and in line with the instructions we provide. Misuse of our website or products, including attempts to interfere with, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to our systems, may result in termination of access.
You agree to provide accurate information when you create an account, place an order, or apply to a program, and to keep that information current.
3. Products, results, and intended use
The BioReader and Kora Strips are wellness monitoring tools. They screen for trends in saliva biomarkers. They do not diagnose disease, and results are not a substitute for veterinary examination, diagnosis, or treatment. Results are intended to support conversations with your veterinarian, not replace them.
Kora Strips are shipped cold and must be kept refrigerated until use. Results may be affected if strips are stored outside the stated conditions or used past their expiration date.
4. Orders, plans, and billing
Prices, plan terms, and shipping details are shown at checkout before you place an order. When a plan is billed on a recurring basis, you authorize us to charge your payment method on the stated schedule until you cancel. Card details are processed by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
You can cancel or pause a plan from your account. Cancellation stops future charges; it does not retroactively refund payments already made for fulfilled shipments.
5. Intellectual property
Pronova retains all ownership and intellectual property rights in our technology, sensors, software, content, trademarks, and the methods and know-how behind them. Nothing in these terms transfers any of those rights to you.
6. Feedback
If you send us comments, suggestions, or other feedback, we may use it in current or future products or services without compensation or attribution to you. You assign to Pronova all right, title, and interest in any ideas, know-how, concepts, or techniques contained in that feedback.
7. Disclaimers
To the greatest extent permitted by applicable law, our website, products, and all results are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, including any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement, whether express or implied by law, course of dealing, course of performance, usage of trade, or otherwise.
Some jurisdictions limit or do not allow the disclaimer of implied warranties, so the above may not apply to you.
8. Limitation of liability
Pronova is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or products. Our total liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
9. Indemnity
You agree to defend and hold Pronova, and its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, contractors, partners, employees, successors, and assigns harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees and court costs, made by any third party arising out of your use of our website or products, your violation of the rights of another, or your violation of these terms.
10. General
The laws of the State of Delaware, excluding its conflict of laws principles, govern these terms. Any claim or dispute relating to these terms will be settled by binding arbitration in Delaware under the applicable rules of the American Arbitration Association. Whether in arbitration or court, you waive the right to bring or take part in a class, collective, or representative action.
You may not assign your rights under these terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations at our discretion. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. Our failure to exercise a right does not waive it.
We may update these terms from time to time. The last updated date at the top of this page reflects the current version.
